New Video Highlight: Operation Chuck Wagon

Check out our new video highlight, “Operation Chuck Wagon” from the Northern Kentucky Independent District Health.  The video itself is available in the bottom half of our home page. You can also view the details of this wonderful QI initiative here. The initiative helped increase the percentage of properly licensed mobile food vendors to correct unsafe food handling and prevent foodborne illness. Great news for food truck aficionados!

Happy June, PHQIX community!

First, we wanted to let you know that our first newsletter was sent to our PHQIX user list who agreed to be contacted. We are archiving these newsletters on the site here. Additionally, we are excited to be at the Open Forum for Quality Improvement in Public Health in Milwaukee, Wisconsin today through Friday, June 14. Please come by our booth to say hello and learn more about our developments, resources and community! We would also like to take this opportunity to reveal the Open Forum Challenge!

Any Open Forum attendees who comment substantively to a submission and/or in our Community Forum will be entered into a drawing for an iPod Nano. You can be entered into the drawing up to three times the more you comment. This Challenge is open to those who have already registered, as well as new users who register during the conference. Promising Practices

"Our quality improvement (QI) team would like to build on the good efforts that others have already done on our topic. Do you have any suggestions about how to best use a proven or promising practice as our improvement strategy?"

Check out Marni Mason's response: Adapting or Adopting Promising Practices.

Look for the Thumbs Up Icon!

Throughout the month of June, 'like' submissions, comments, and news posts...anything you find interesting that has the upvoting option!  You'll be entered into the drawing for a chance to win a Memory Jogger, stainless steel water bottle, or LED flashlight.
