I'm looking for an engaging free or low-cost online introduction to QI to use with new outreach staff and case managers as part of their initial orientation. The ones that I have reviewed so far (i.e., Operationalizing Quality Improvement in Public Health – University of Minnesota, CQI for Public Health: The Fundamentals - OSU College of Public Health, QI 102 – How to Improve with The Model for Improvement – Institute for Health Improvement) are great resources but are not exactly compelling viewing. I have been looking on YouTube, and while IHI has a good video, "Dr. Mike Evans Video: An Illustrated Look at Quality Improvement in Health Care," it is really not targeted for this audience.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I am really looking for a basic introduction to the basic concepts of quality improvement with an introduction to the PDSA cycle.
