The State of New Mexico Department of Health has some quality improvement projects underway with American Indian tribes, pueblos, and nations. An example is work with Navajo Nation to support requested support as tribal health department accreditation is sought. Other efforts include offering "Results-based Accountability" (RBA) training for performance improvement and Public Health 101. How do other health departments support tribal quality improvement initiatives?
